Following the double spent attack on the coin in Q1 2017, a new version (v220.127.116.11) of the HTML5 wallet was released in 18th of June 2017 to address that matter, introduce improvements and to hinder and stop hacking risk and future attacks (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=971382.msg19631138#msg19631138). At the end of 2017 a new HTMLCOIN 2.0 was introduced, using a different algorithm and a swap schedule was presented to the public in stages of 1:1, 2:1 and 3:1 ratios. So far, so good.
The main thing that some people disagreed with was the END of the con SWAP. Many people could not make it due to various reasons (group 1) and some were locked in Yobit (group 2). The first group remained with something they cannot trade or exchange anywhere, and the second – well, Yobit did freeze the walled, as the HTMLCOIN team could not verify via bitcoin talk account due to recent forum hack. It is our view, that the SWAP should have remained open indefinitely, even on ratio 4:1!
However the X15 HTML5 coin remained live in terms of network, so we (a group of enthusiasts) decided to add it to exchanges and resolve the Yobit matter.
We are not developing, forking or changing the coin!
